This connecting rod connects pistons to the crankshaft in industrial air compressors. Part of engines that can have up to 30 HP producing 830 RPMs this casting is meant to be strong and durable. Made on our Hunter 10 (14x19) in Ductile Iron (65-45-12) it is a tough casting. Final piece weight for this part is 3.5 lbs and before shipment it is brinell hardness tested and visually inspected to our quality standard.
